Plavac mali from the southern slopes of Hvar and Cabernet from our vineyards on the northern side of Hvar are vinified separately, after which they are blended and aged for six months in barrique barrels. The result is a wine with smooth tannins, in which the intensity and varietal aromas of Plavac are enhanced by the elegance and freshness of Cabernet. The characteristic aromas of plums, dried grapes and earth are complemented by aromas of black currant, spices and other nuances. We also predict that the wine has a greater aging potential than other Plavac wines.
