Chardonnay from the highest position on Plešivica, at 400m above sea level, was aged in oak barrels for a year on the lees, which enabled production almost without the addition of sulphur. Schooling on yeasts resulted in a wine with a distinct body and fullness that lingers in the mouth for a long time, while on the other hand the freshness and fruitiness of the variety was retained.
